London October Public Forum: Is Europe good for women?

On Saturday 31st March we held a Training Seminar for event Organisers with detailed presentations on Speak up Europe Web Site and Animation

from Aine McGuire and Planning a Successful Event from Alan Wasdell.

Margaret Daly explained the Concept of Speak up Europe and with Alan Wasdell led a discussion on handling the Press at local and national level.

Margaret Daly went through the financial guidelines for event organizers and answered questions. Full documentation was provided for the 32 representatives present.

Birmingham Central, Sussex, Merseyside, Northern Ireland Council,and Hampshire Central have confirmed their intention to organize other Speak Up Europe events. Details of these and all our events will be posted on our websites : www.whathaseuropedone.org Also www.speakupeurope.eu

In addition, Sussex Branch had two major events in March to celebrate

the 50th Anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome .
