STUDY TOUR TO BRUSSELS

Between TUESDAY 14TH APRIL and FRIDAY 17TH APRIL 2009 there will be a study tour to Brussels as below. Please note that this is not arranged by LDEG but LDEG members will be welcome. There are three places left.

There are 3 places left for the European Atlantic Movement Study Tour to Brussels for lecturers, teachers and other professional and business people. The visit will include the European Parliament, European Commission, Council of the European Union, Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, BBC Brussels, Council of Europe, Permanent Representation of France to the E.U., and other institutions of international cooperation.

Travel: Eurostar from St Pancras to Brussels Midi.

Accommodation: 4* Hotel Carrefour de l'Europe in the centre of Brussels.

Cost for those in shared accommodation will be £250 and for those in single accommodation will be £395.

Arrangements can be made for those who wish to stay Friday and Saturday nights and return on Sunday.

There are 3 places available for the Study Tour and 3 bursaries of £150.00p funded by The Financial Times are available for UK serving teachers and lecturers. This enables TEAM to provide a Study Tour for £100.00p.

TEAM is an independent registered charity, non-political, non-sectarian. TEAM aims to promote understanding of World Affairs and of the Institutions of International Cooperation by young people, educators, opinion formers and other interested adults.
